I’m baaaack

Jonathan Richardson July 25th, 2006

Hello ladies and gents. Sorry for my prolonged absence, but I’ve been on vacation in the wilds of Alaska. Well actually, it was more of a cruise if you want to get technical, but lets not split hairs. I’ve got a ton of catching up to do, but expect the posts to start coming fast and furious in the next few days. Seems the profession has in fact not stopped to wait for me, but at least there are many great conversations taking place. Stay tuned.

Good luck and God’s speed

NASA has started a launch blog for mission STS-121. It’s  updated every few minutes with information on preparations and facts about the mission. There is also a video feed with play by play commetary from shuttle control. For the next mission, it would be great to see astronauts blog about preparing for the mission (like they aren’t busy enough as it is.)
Florida Today is also blogging the event.
